Distant Dreams Distant dreams come to me, seeing that lilac veil whipped gently in the wind, as we chased one another beside the Tomb of Suleyman, my heart drowned in love as his did for his people, the warmth of the Euphrates couldn't match your gentle palms, your beauty truly shined that day, I awake in nights cold silence, it was all but distant dreams,

Chains slowly move around the men in white shrouds, they whisper silently seeking enlightenment away from the misery of the gray walls, their chants echo through the chambers, slowly the blood of martyrs break the walls of oppression, light passes through them, the warmth makes them weep, slowly they ascend towards the heavens, knowing they are with whom who has given them life.

Walking slowly through the forest, numerous beaded dew shimmer my winding path, I sense the shadows moving slowly nearby changing shapes every so often, stalking me as though primeval predators sense their prey, the evening sun creates crimson roses in the heavens above, yet darkness is approaching, menacingly seeking to dim my warm heart, memories of you drift into me, your gently glowing smile gives me strength no matter how distant we are, shining my way through the unknown,

You moved swiftly with the blades, your evergreen eyes beaming with passion, the ones I believed were lost still protecting that innocent soul, the music sways you, yet your away in another world, I see it in your face, it is that moment of love we shared in the fields of sands, nothing will make me forget that day, the sun shined above us, gently moving through your crimson veils, you said that as our shadows become one under the gaze of the heavens above, we will always remember our love, now I see you scared beyond that, you swirl gently, but it seems as if your lilac veils are floating as if by some spirit, silently you beg for me to come

The crow watches silently, blood trickles down my face, I see the horror taking place in my eyes, watching my love being destroyed by demons tearing her apart ignoring her pain, her screams rip through my heart, the pain is unbearable, my soul shattered, tears flowing from both of us, as I lay helpless unable to save her, blood streams down her clothes, her hands reaching for me, I seek to touch her one last time, to say forgive me, will my soul survive the fires of hell, to see her face one last time in heaven, slowly darkness envelops me, The crow watches silently,

The music enters my body, my mind is obliterated of all evils, all is lost in my mind in a whirling depth, my veins move with every sound emanating around me, images of past, and future move by, dreams are more real now then ever, the rain water hits my face, as my love gently kisses me, the wind howls in protest moving her hair around me, we are in engulfed by water, chills move up my body, but it is not from the cold but from her touch such magnificence, the trance storm brought me life, I breath again,  

The nights pain my soul, as I remember a better time in my life, The faces of my family long gone haunt me as I see them in the summer shine near the fields, the hands of my father grip my shoulders telling me stories of the lost Greek warriors, who fought in foreign battles but always dreamed about home, the winds gently moved the wild flowers near our ancestral home, the leafs rustled near our olive orchard, I awake, rusting,and rotting abandoned building reflects my soul, Blood swirls gently on the floor, eery faces seem to form in them, then disappear, my arm is searing , Oh god the shadows of death mocked me, relentlessly beating me,

The last adventure left for me is death, the unexplored nature that awaits gives me shivers, I see in my eyes darkness envelope me, I seek to find the that light in my dreams, those heavenly angels with shining dark eyes looking at me, empty waiting for me to cross over, the proverbial saying that in death a man truly becomes alive suddenly ring in my head, I envisioned all those times in wars, how the smell of blood, and danger seduced me, no longer are they enough for me, no longer have those thoughts, until now, I pull the trigger, all is calm, The last adventure left for me is death,

I feel nothing as I press for the button for the morning work, another living machine in lines of cubes, the aurora of sweat, smell of overworking bodies hidden by cheap perfume or deodorants can't hide the fact of death inside me, I look out the window into fresh air, the leaders hand out works to us, telling us we run the body called corporation, thus I feel the need to be free, the need to dismember the body I feel not attachment to, that caused my to suffer silently, I get up, run into the shining path, away from chains, I break through the window, into fresh air, into oblivion, into trance, all ends, I hurt the body called corporation, b

I see men yell, as the bullets scream back, blood drains into the streets, red rivers of thousands cascade down, what a sight, as I am hauled into a truck, barely seeing anything at all, I see in my mind a different place, where the smell of blood, sweat didn't exist, the image of you love comes into my mind, you running down gently through the tall grasses of the valley, the sweet smells of flowers remind me of us spending, what seems like eons talking about everything in the world and beyond, how far was darkness that day, how far was death, it seems like those things can never enter our small heaven, I am shaken by the guard beating me, wh
